CropLife Africa Middle East successfully concluded a visit to Jordan from July 15–16, 2025, marked by four specialized workshops at the Ministry of Agriculture’s Farmers’ Hall. The sessions were organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Jordanian Association of Agricultural Materials traders and Producers.
The workshops focused on key priorities for Jordan’s agricultural sector:

• Securing the Supply Chain: Combating Illicit Trade of Pesticides through Innovation
• From Definition to Implementation: Shaping the Future of Biopesticides
• Towards a Sustainable Future: Advancing Container Management Solutions
The events featured active participation from private sector actors, experts, local authorities and policymakers, with open and transparent discussions grounded in scientific data and local field research.
Senior Ministry officials and association leaders opened the workshops, reaffirming their commitment to collaboration and capacity building. A highlight of the visit was a meeting with H.E. the Minister of Agriculture and the Secretary-General, who expressed strong support for the workshop’s outcomes and their integration into national plans.
