On 16–17 November 2025, CropLife Africa Middle East, represented by Regional Director Abdelmoneim Bakr, partnered with the Jordanian Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) and AMATPA to deliver two technical workshops in Amman and the Jordan Valley.

The mission focused on boosting national capacity in:
🔹 Pesticide resistance management
🔹 Mode of Action (MoA) labelling
🔹 Integrating biopesticides into sustainable IPM programs

• Best practices for managing resistance & implementing MoA-based rotation strategies
• The role of biopesticides in sustainable IPM
• The importance of accurate MoA labelling for farmer guidance & regulatory alignment

Outcomes
• Higher awareness of resistance challenges and mitigation tools
• Strong interest in expanding biopesticide use in national production systems
• Increased alignment between MoA, AMATPA & CL AME on future capacity-building efforts

This mission deepened CL AME’s partnership with Jordan and opened new opportunities for collaboration in stewardship, regulatory support, and sustainable agriculture.
