Waste Disposal Operators (WDOs)

Following the collection point, WDOs become the third holder of the primary pesticide packaging waste. WDOs must possess the expertise and capacity to manage the recovery of hazardous waste, including primary pesticide packaging waste, under the control of the PRO (Producer Responsibility Organization). The WDOs should be responsible for the safe and environmentally sound disposal or recycling of the collected waste.
