From 26–30 January 2026, CropLife Africa Middle East (CLAME) – represented by Ibrahim Traoré – and CROPLIFE SENEGAL conducted joint activities in Senegal focused on
👉 Strengthening crop protection governance, food safety, and farmer capacity building
👉 Promotion of Responsible Use, IPM, and MRL training programs
👉 Development of public–private partnerships, including a proposed MoU framework
👉 Regulatory dialogue on product registration, inspections, and combating illicit CPPs
👉 Support for obsolete pesticide stock (Obstock) safe disposal, with Veolia
